"They are ready to lead": SSG and SPG Officers Finally Proclaimed

On the 6th of October 2019, a selection of students was officially elected as the school's student body or members of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) and Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) of PISQ for the academic year 2019-2020.

The list of SSG officers was announced to the whole school and they were proclaimed at PISQ's covered court. The proclamation was witnessed by hundreds of students from the Junior High School and Senior High School Department. The school principal, Mr. Jason A. Iyas, and the Heads of Junior High School and Senior High School Department, Ms. Trinidad D. Cabaliza and Mr. Jojo L. Calague - respectively - were also there to witness the event.

The event began with an opening prayer, followed by the Qatar and Philippine national anthems.
The purpose of the school's student government is for the students to be able to develop their skills in leadership by planning school activities and events. Their aim is to shape students into becoming an active member of the community and help them see their different potentials. Not only will their leadership skills be honed, but so will their ability to communicate with others. Being involved in the student government would enhance one's role as a responsible citizen who can easily accomplish tasks.
